ADEL SAS, which supports the promotion of the Senegalese local economy, has requested ANIMA to train local government actors in territorial economic development, in particular and initially on territorial marketing.

Thanks to an expertise on the subject and in training acquired over many years, ANIMA was able to respond favourably to this request by proposing adapted solutions for both distance and face-to-face capacity building.

This first tailor-made training, in an innovative and participative digital format, will be held over 2 half-days, on October 22nd and 23rd, 2020. It aims to introduce to a limited audience of about ten people, the concepts of territorial marketing to analyze the assets and needs of a territory to build and implement a strategy and governance of territorial marketing.

It will also help the participants to promote a more in-depth training on the same topic which will take place at the end of 2020, with a wider audience of local actors.

The upcoming training sessions are targeting executives from local authorities as well as a group of young graduates, who will be then offered more operational training on economic development to prepare their entry on the job market.
