This paper aims at highlighting the main features currently characterizing the agri-food sector in both the European Union and the Southern Mediterranean countries and providing recommendations for public and private stakeholders in order to overcome these challenges and boost business opportunities. This strategic study has been developed in the frame of the EUROMED Invest project.
