Marseille hosts the Immersion Week of the Soft Landing Provence Africa Connect Program

, which will take place in Marseille from September 15 to 19, 2025. This event marks a key step in supporting 17 innovative African startups eager to establish and thrive in the European market through the Aix-Marseille region.

Soft Landing Provence Africa Connect is a strategic initiative of the Aix-Marseille-Provence Metropolis aimed at strengthening the region’s position as a major economic bridge between Europe and Africa. The program provides comprehensive support to the selected companies, covering future-oriented sectors such as GreenTech, HealthTech, BlueTech, Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI), and AgriTech.

For the past two months, these companies have been benefiting from remote coaching and targeted training. The immersion week in Marseille is a key stage in this support. The program includes visits to innovative ecosystems, B2B sessions to encourage collaborations, and meetings with experts from various fields, allowing startups to deepen their understanding of the local market and expand their network.

This program is implemented by major players in innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic development in the region, notably Accélérateur M, Marseille Innovation, Kedge, Eurobiomed and ANIMA. It also receives valuable support from partners such as Provence Promotion, Africalink, Emerging Valley, and CISAM.

The main objective of Soft Landing Provence Africa Connect is to create value and jobs by facilitating the mutual expansion of African and European companies. By providing a conducive environment for their development, the Aix-Marseille-Provence Metropolis confirms its commitment to energizing economic exchanges and strengthening ties between the two continents.
