Following an initial pre-incubation phase focused on entrepreneurship workshops, ANIMA Investment Network is taking things to the next level with the launch of LinkUp Africa masterclasses, specifically designed to help sub-Saharan students refine and consolidate their project ideas.

These intensive sessions also include 12 hours of personalized coaching, tailored to the specific technical, legal, or financial needs of the participants.

Who are the participants?

The 45 selected students, chosen after entrepreneurship workshops and pitch juries, are based in key cities across the country:

  • 16 participants: Rabat, Kénitra
  • 8 participants: Casablanca
  • 8 participants: Fès, Oujda
  • 5 participants: Tanger
  • 8 participants: Agadir, Marrakech

How are the masterclasses organized?

Participants are grouped based on the nature of their projects:

  • Service-oriented projects (consulting firms, training centers, personal services, communication agencies):
    • Focus on “go-to-market” strategy development.
  • Marketplace and digital solutions:
    • Focus on creating a strong “business model.”
  • Industrial or agricultural projects:
    • Focus on deepening understanding of “business activities.”

These masterclasses offer a unique opportunity for young entrepreneurs to transform promising ideas into structured, viable projects, contributing to innovation and economic growth.

About LinkUp Africa

LinkUp Africa is a program funded by the European Union and managed by the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation and Enabel. Its main goal is to strengthen technical, academic, and economic cooperation between Morocco and other African countries. The program emphasizes creating economic opportunities for young people by offering entrepreneurship support to sub-Saharan students and graduates living in Morocco.

As part of this initiative, the Start Africa Morocco project focuses on improving employment prospects for these students through targeted initiatives. These efforts support their professional development and promote their socio-economic integration into the Moroccan economy or the economy of their home countries upon return.

Through LinkUp Africa, ANIMA develops specific actions to reinforce this cooperation and stimulate economic opportunities for young Africans.
