Cluster Business Connect : Winning Projects

As part of the Euromed Clusters Forward project, funded by the European Union and implemented by a consortium led by  ANIMA Investment Network, more than a dozen collaborative projects have been selected following the Cluster Business Connect call for proposals.

This initiative aims to foster inclusive innovation, competitiveness, and inter-cluster cooperation between the European Union and Southern Mediterranean countries, by building new regional value chains (RVCs) and promoting sustainable technological and business partnerships.

The selected projects bring together clusters from strategic sectors such as textiles, agrifood, green energy, health, construction, precision mechanics, and digital transformation, involving partners established in both Europe and the Southern Mediterranean region.

A Strengthened Euro-Mediterranean Dynamic

These projects demonstrate the potential of Euro-Mediterranean cooperation to address common industrial, environmental, and societal challenges. By bringing together clusters, SMEs, research centers, and innovation stakeholders, Cluster Business Connect contributes to:

  • creating new market opportunities,
  • developing innovative products and services,
  • accelerating the transition towards more sustainable and competitive industries.

The selected projects started in September 2025 for a maximum duration of 8 months, with funding of up to €45,000 per project.

Ultimately, the selection of these projects represents a key milestone for the future of Euro-Mediterranean cooperation. Beyond financial support, Cluster Business Connect helps structure concrete partnerships between clusters, companies, and institutions on both shores of the Mediterranean. By fostering innovation, sustainability, and competitiveness, this initiative contributes to building a more integrated and resilient economic space, capable of addressing tomorrow’s major challenges while creating new opportunities for inclusive growth across the region.
