ANIMA at the Innovation Fair “Enabling that step forward” – 23 October in Brussels

The European Commission’s Directorate-General for Research and Innovation (DG RTD) is organizing the Innovation Fair “Enabling that step forward” on 23 October 2025 in Brussels.

This major event is part of the Joint AU-EU Innovation Agenda (2023–2033), the New Agenda for the Mediterranean, and the R&I Roadmaps of the Union for the Mediterranean.

The fair will showcase innovative solutions with market and societal potential, promote EU–Africa–Mediterranean cooperation, and foster partnerships between key innovation stakeholders from the three regions.

We’re pleased to announce that ANIMA will have an official stand at the event, offering an opportunity to highlight our network’s activities and engage with new partners.

Call for innovative startups and SMEs

Startups and SMEs are invited to apply to pitch their innovations in one of the following key areas :

• Public Health

• Food and Nutrition Security & Sustainable Agriculture

• Climate Change & Renewable Energy

• Innovation & Technology

• Science Capacity Building
